Dealership Questions

How do I become a dealer?
Give us a call. You can call in and speak with your assigned dealer rep, who is based in the state your business is located in. We would then either take your business information over the phone, or we can send you an email link where you can enter the requested information on your own.
Yes, we do, but every engine has a different fixed discount. Parts do as well, and percentages vary from kit to kit on parts orders. Call us for details, we’ll walk you through it.
Our dealers speak with the same sales rep every time, through every situation. Dealers also get discounts on all of our products and services. shorter lead times on engine and transmission orders. As a dealer, you also have the option to have NO core charge up front on engine and transmission orders as long as you agree to send your good core back to Rev6 on agreed terms.
Dealers can send in a warranty labor request to their assigned dealer rep, but we handle every situation differently based on each issue (decided on a case-by-case basis). Labor hours are what we work with, but we do not cover shop materials, parts, or tax rate.

Core Questions

Most core questions can be answered on our core page

What is a core?

Your “core” is simply your old engine. We regularly purchase engine cores. Call us to get a quote (you may have some rusty-gold sitting in your garage right now)

REV6 either requires your old engine core to be sent in first, or we charge a refundable core deposit before shipping your new engine. In some cases, we must receive your engine before starting the rebuild. Call customer service or visit this page for details.
Shipping generally takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location.
A rebuild means we repair your specific engine, only addressing what’s necessary. This comes with a 30-day warranty.
A build core means we use your engine to complete our full remanufacturing process, which qualifies for our 1- or 2-year warranty options.
Most internal components are replaced. Our remanufacturing process uses a combination of new and inspected reusable parts to keep costs down without compromising longevity.
Yes. Engines do not come with fluids or spark plugs. We offer optional break-in kits and may recommend additional parts based on your engine.
Yes! Even damaged cores often have value. Speak with your rep or with customer service so we can evaluate your core and give you a realistic refund estimate.
Once we receive your core, REV6 typically processes your refund within 2–3 business days.

Parts Questions

What makes REV6 parts better than OEM?
Many of our components use upgraded alloys and fixes to address common OEM failure points. With thousands of engines passing through our facility, we’ve learned what breaks and how to make it better.
Each engine goes through a multi-stage process including pressure testing, inspections, and precise measuring to ensure performance and reliability right from the start.

Warranty Questions

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All REV6 engines come with a 1-year warranty by default. We also offer a 2-year, no-fault warranty for only $450 extra. Call our customer service department for more information.

No. Our warranty covers the engine only, not labor for removal or installation.
We cover return shipping on a warranty engine. We may also assist with shipping it back to us, pending approval from our warranty department.
While REV6’s Master Technicians service every engine, mistakes do happen from time to time. The warranty term remains within the original 1- or 2-year period based on your purchase, even if the issue was on our end.

Installation Questions

Do you have installation instructions?
We recommend following the factory service manual for your vehicle. It offers the most accurate and detailed guidance. We do have some videos on our website or on YouTube that may be helpful to those installing their rebuilt engine, transmission, or kit.
Step-by-step break-in instructions will be included with your engine. You can also find them on our website. This will detail driving guidelines, oil types, and service intervals. You can find the break-in instructions here.
Refer to your factory service manual or our torque specs page for all torque specs.
We generally require a high-zinc or conventional (non-synthetic) oil to help components seat properly. Specific oil requirements will be included in your break-in instructions.
